1. Product Returns & Exchanges
To receive a return and shipping address email: admin@rootofthegods.com and provide your name, order number, name of item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return. Root of the Gods is not responsible for return or exchange shipping costs. We reserve the right to deny a refund if the returned merchandise does not meet our return policy requirements.
If the above conditions are met, and the item is in perfect re-sellable condition, you can return regular priced merchandise within 30 days of the original order date for a full refund or exchange. Sale items are non refundable.
Refunds will be issued and exchanged items will be dispatched only after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality check. Refunds will be made minus any shipping fees.
Trackable shipping services and purchasing shipping insurance are both highly recommended for return items.
Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to appear back in your method of payment account. International refund can take up to 14 business days.
Product Issues
We will always do our best to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. Customers can get a full refund on a product if there is an issue with the quality or the reaction it has on your body. We ask in this incident that you are able to send us full details of the issue so that we are able to further investigate or advise you on solutions. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the product or the effect it has you will can either receive a full refund for the product or be sent an exchange to a product better suited. If there is an issue on the product breaking or not being in good condition upon delivery, please take photos and we will make sure another product is sent out to you right away.
If your package gets lost or broken in the mail we will send you a replacement or refund. Please make sure that you have the correct shipping address as we will only send a replacement once.
If the shipping address provided when ordering is not correct, we are not responsible and cannot guarantee the re-sending of lost items.
Product Reactions
If you have an abnormal reaction to any product we will issue a full refund or send you an alternative. We will do our best to help you find out ingredient caused the reaction but we are not liable for any reaction caused - our products are all 100% natural. Please seek advice from your doctor before using our products if you are unsure.
2. Retreat and Event Policies
Booking Confirmation and 24-Hour Cooling-Off Period
Once your booking is confirmed, you have 24 hours to cancel and receive a full refund of any payments made. To do so, you must notify us via email within this timeframe.
During this 24-hour period, it is your responsibility to review your booking details (e.g., dates, room type, and number of guests) in the confirmation message.
If you notice any errors, please contact us immediately within the 24-hour cooling-off period to make corrections.
Refund Policy
Deposits*
The first £300 GBP paid towards any retreat counts as your deposit - this amount is non refundable. This applies to both payment plans and payments in full.
Cancellations
Refunds are calculated based on the number of days before the start date of the retreat or event:
- 90+ days prior: Full refund minus the deposit* and a 5% administrative fee**
- 60–89 days prior: 50% refund minus the deposit and a 5% administrative fee**
- 30–59 days prior: 30% refund minus the deposit and a 5% administrative fee**
- 0–29 days prior: No refund will be provided.
*’Deposits’ are always referring to £300 GBP

Important Notes
No refund or credit will be issued for leaving the retreat early or failing to attend for any reason.
Please ensure you have travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may prevent your attendance or the running of the retreat.
Exceptions may be made in extreme circumstances at our discretion.
Programme Changes
All information provided on our website or in any form of correspondence is accurate at the time of publication. However, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., mechanical faults, weather conditions, or "Acts of God") may result in temporary unavailability of certain amenities.
Occasionally, we may need to adjust the advertised programme due to staff illness or other unexpected issues. For example, if a facilitator becomes unwell during the retreat, it may not be possible to find a replacement at short notice, and activities may need to be changed or canceled. This is rare, but we will always do our best to provide an equivalent alternative.
Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel the event/retreat, and in this case you will receive the option of a full refund or where possible, to transfer your place to another retreat date or different offering.
Right to Refuse or Cancel Bookings
We reserve the right to:
Refuse or cancel your booking (or that of any accompanying guests).
Ask you (or any accompanying guests) to leave the retreat if your actions or behavior are deemed unacceptable or offensive to others.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include but are not limited to:
- Intoxication or being under the influence of drugs.
- Abusive, threatening, or racist behavior.
- Inciting violence, either verbally, in writing, or in person.
Flights and Transfers
- Flights must be booked independently after your retreat stay has been confirmed by one of our booking managers.
- If booking online, please wait for confirmation from our team before purchasing flights.
Passport Validity
Please check your local government and flight provider's requirements regarding passport validity and Covid-19 protocols.
Ensure your passport has sufficient validity before travel.
For UK guests (post-Brexit), most travel insurers will not cover trips if your passport does not meet current requirements. Double-check the issue/expiry date to ensure it is not older than 10 years at the time of travel.
Health Restrictions
If you are pregnant or under medical/psychiatric supervision, you must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming your fitness to travel and participate in the retreat.
Important: The retreat is not suitable for individuals with severe psychiatric conditions, as our team is not professionally trained in this area. If you have a psychiatric diagnosis and would like to speak with the team to discuss suitability, please book a call with us here.
Dietary Restrictions
We can accommodate food allergies/intolerances by omitting certain ingredients. However, extensive allergies may limit food combinations. Please notify us of any dietary requirements as soon as possible.
All health issues, including allergies, must be disclosed at the time of booking or prior to your stay.
Suitability
The retreat is not suitable for individuals with physical disabilities who require significant care, as we lack the necessary resources and expertise.
The retreat does welcome families and children however you must enquire before booking as we do have a limited capacity for this per group.
